    Goldie captain and 6 seat Al Taylor called at the toss and won. Goldie selected the Surrey station. There was a strong blustery South-Westerly wind on the day. This resulted in flat water and a tailwind off the start but made for challenging conditions and a strong headwind after the Surrey bend. The water flattened from Barnes Bridge to the finish.  Read more
