The Boat Race in The Park

For a view of the action and great race day atmosphere, choose to spend the day in either of the two boat race parks - Bishop's Park, Fulham and Furnivall Gardens in Hammersmith.

Open free to the public between 12.00 and 19.00, both parks offer great riverside vantage points with views of the action as it unfolds on the water, as well as other entertainment for all to enjoy. Once the Race has gone past, visitors can keep up as the Race develops by watching the live BBC coverage on one of several big screens.

Furnivall Gardens and Bishop's Park are both situated alongside the Championship Course, making them the perfect locations to watch the event.

In Fielders Meadow, Bishop's Park, located at the very start of the Race, the focus is on fun for all the family, with children's rides and sporting activities, plus many food stands and bars.
